In January 2009 Dubai Mall opened ‘The Waterfall’ which is a water feature in the true style of Dubai…. It is impressive to say the least. Not really what one would expect walking around a shopping mall.
The Waterfall stretches over all four floors of Dubai Mall and is patterned with numerous identical statues of human divers made of fiberglass. The Waterfall is well-lit from huge windows and a skylight near by.
Having walked past these divers many times on my visits to Dubai Mall, I always thought they would make an interesting subject for some photos. As it happened I had my camera with me last week and took some time out to take some photos.
