Gardens of Villa Borghese

The Gardens of Villa Borghese is a public park in the heart of Rome popular with locals and tourists alike. It certainly is a great location to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city. The Gardens of Villa Borghese is the second largest public park of around 148 acres and is full of lush greenery, ample trees for shade during the hot summer months, as well as fountains and monuments in the true Roman style.

Shown is the Temple of Esculapius which was built as a landscape feature in the 19th century.

These photos were taken 20 years ago on my Praktica MTL3 film camera during  a trip to Rome. The negatives have been scanned and the images retouched in Photoshop.
