Phu Lang Ceramic Village

Our tourist guide did a wonderful job in arranging our weeks stay in Vietnam for the photography expedition. It was obvious that a lot of work and discussion had taken place in choosing the destinations for the group. Of course any reputable tourist guide will know the places typically tourists would like to visit, but would they fully understand what photographers would be looking for? Our trip to Phu Lang Ceramic Village hit the jackpot in terms of photo opportunities.

Phu Lang was quite an un-remarkable destination but completely typical of rural village life in Vietnam, however, it was full of life, character and smiling faces.

With so many photographers around shooting paparazzi style it is understandable that this shy young girl started to get a little overwhelmed.

Ceramic flower pots drying in the sun before being taken off to market to sell.

This young girl was only happy to pose for the passing photographers. I think everyone got a shot of this cutie.
